The San Antonio Zags was founded on the belief that teens from all walks of life have innate talents waiting to be discovered.

The Zags helps teens realize their athletic potential and take steps toward helping them reach their educational goals by participating in tournaments within and outside of the state for maximum visibility to college coaches, enabling them to envision and create a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their communities.

The San Antonio Zags Basketball Organization was built around providing our players with an engaging and supportive environment in which to acquire and refine high-level playing skills, develop and exhibit strong character, loyalty and integrity both on and off the court.

25 players, ages 14 – 18
2 Teams: 18U Varsity and 15U Freshmen

Why are we raising Money you ask?
Over 60 % of our operating budget is allocated for financial assistance to our players. Our goal is to never turn away a child because of financial need.

San Antonio Zags Basketball is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization affiliated with the Amateur Athletic Union AAU.  All contributions made to the organization are tax deductible.

We pay rent for our practice facilities. Purchase of practice uniforms as well as game uniforms for all playersTournaments: We want to be able to offer our teams the opportunity to travel and get the exposure needed to continue their educational goals.
